Dayton, OH (May 22, 2023) – One person was transported to an area hospital for the treatment of injuries following an explosion that took place in the Piqua area on Saturday afternoon, May 20.

The parts from authorities show that an explosion took place at a home located in the 15,000 block of Miami Shelby Road.

Authorities arrived at the scene and found a house that was suffering from significant damage as a result of the explosion.

One person was injured as a result of the incident. The victim was transported by ambulance to a local hospital for emergency care.
