Lake Elsinore, CA (May 22, 2023) – Two people were left injured following an explosion that took place in the Lake Elsinore area on Friday evening, May 19.
At around 4:30 p.m., a natural gas pipeline explosion occurred at the Lake Elsinore Diamond. Authorities rushed to the minor league baseball stadium to provide assistance.
Two people suffered moderate injuries as a result of the incident.
The two victims were airlifted from the scene and flown to area hospitals for emergency care.
At this time, the incident is being investigated.
