Chicago, IL (May 29, 2023) – An explosion took place in the West Pullman neighborhood on Friday afternoon that left one person injured. The incident was reported on May 26.

According to officials, an explosion took place in the 12,000 block of West Lafayette Avenue during the afternoon hours. The incident resulted in two homes catching fire in the neighborhood.
