Omaha, NE (June 6, 2023) – An employee with the Omaha Public School was left injured as a result of a propane explosion that took place on Monday, June 5.

The incident was reported at the Mills building of the school, which is located near 30th Street and Taylor Street.

Reports from authorities show that a worker was on a forklift when a propane tank exploded at the facility. The worker was severely hurt as a result of the accident.

The man was rushed to an area hospital, where he was admitted in serious condition.
