Chandler, AZ (August 2, 2023) – Several people were transported to area hospitals with injuries following an explosion that occurred in the Chandler area on Monday, July 31.
At around 2:00 p.m., the Chandler Police Department and firefighters were requested on-site at a major explosion incident.
Reports show that a commercial building explosion occurred at a company that is known for manufacturing and selling supplements and vitamins. The incident caused a partial roof collapse over the 25,000-square-foot structure.
Four people were injured in the explosion. The victims were treated at the scene before being transported to area hospitals. Two of the victims were in serious condition.
At this time, the incident is being investigated.
