Bueno, NJ (August 4, 2023) – A massive explosion reported in the Landisville section of Buena claimed the lives of multiple victims, according to area law enforcement.

The explosion was reported to area officials at around 10:35 a.m. on August 3.

According to local news reports, an explosion occurred at a residence located in the 300 block of Northwest Boulevard. The incident caused the building to catch on fire, resulting in significant damage. Two adjacent structures also suffered damage as a result of the fire.

Six people were in the home at the time of the blast. Crews worked for an extended period to remove the injured parties from the property. A total of four people were fatally injured in the fire. They were identified as a 52-year-old man, a 73-year-old man, a 2-year-old boy, and a 3-year-old girl. Two other victims suffered injuries but survived the ordeal. They were identified as a 16-year-old and a 1-year-old girl. The two victims were flown to St Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

The cause of the explosion is being investigated by the Franklin Township Police.
