Sheboygan, WI (August 4, 2023) – A woman was transported to a local hospital with injuries following a home explosion that occurred on Tuesday evening in the Sheboygan area.

The Sheboygan Fire Department was dispatched to the scene of the incident at around 8:30 p.m. on August 1.

According to reports from the Sheboygan Police Department, a home located near the intersection of North 12th Street and Ontario Avenue was the site of a massive explosion.

The incident caused the home to burst into flames. Firefighters went to work immediately on suppressing the fire to prevent further damage.

Paramedics were called to care for a female victim, who reportedly suffered injuries due to the explosion. The woman was transported to a local hospital.

At this time, the Sheboygan Police Department is investigating. No other injuries were reported.
