Milwaukee, WI (August 24, 2023) – An explosion was reported on the northwest side of Milwaukee that sent one person to a local hospital with injuries.
Calls for help came in at around 11:00 a.m. on August 23.
According to local news sources, a lithium explosion took place at the Millipore Sigma chemical science company location on North Teutonia Avenue. A hazardous materials team responded to the scene to assist.
One person was injured as a result of the incident. The victim was transported to a local hospital for medical care.
