Lake of the Ozarks, MO (September 5, 2023) – A woman was left injured as a result of an explosion that took place on Sunday morning in the Lake of the Ozarks.
On September 3, the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the scene of an incident near Blue Cave Cove.
Reports show that a woman was using a boat at the Lake of the Ozarks. For unknown reasons, the boat lost power as she was driving it. The woman attempted to restart it, but the boat exploded and burst into flames.
The woman, identified as a 64-year-old from Colorado, was injured as a result of the incident. She was transported to a local hospital by ambulance for medical care.
The incident is being investigated by the Missouri State Highway Patrol at this time.
