Winston-Salem, NC (September 5, 2023) – One person was transported to an area hospital with injuries following an explosion that occurred on Monday, September 4.
At around 4:00 a.m., authorities were called to the scene of an explosion that occurred on Kesteven Road.
Reports indicate that an explosion occurred inside a garage in the 1600 block of Kesteven Road. The explosion caused a fire to break out and cause significant damage to the structure.
Authorities arrived at the scene and located heavy smoke and fire coming out of the garage. Firefighters went to work quickly on battling the blaze.
