Albuquerque, NM (September 9, 2023) – Two people were injured as a result of an explosion that occurred in the Nob Hill neighborhood on Thursday, September 7.
According to reports, at around 2:20 p.m., the Albuquerque Fire Rescue and the police were summoned to the scene of an explosion on Ridgeley Avenue. For unknown reasons, a home located on the roadway near Montclaire Drive exploded, causing severe damage to the structure.
Authorities arrived at the scene and immediately began securing the area.
Two people were injured as a result of the explosion. The victims were transported to area hospitals for medical care.
Authorities are currently investigating the incident.
