Nicholasville, KY (November 16, 2023) – A major explosion was reported in Jessamine County on Wednesday that claimed the life of a four-month-old girl. The explosion occurred on November 15.
According to reports, a man was working on a vehicle on Eagle Nest Drive during the late morning hours. For unknown reasons, the vehicle exploded. The man was injured as a result of the explosion. He was located with serious injuries and transported to a local hospital. A young child inside the vehicle was fatally injured. The victim was declared deceased. The incident is currently being investigated.
