An explosion can have an overwhelming impact on a person’s life. Unfortunately, there are countless instances where people are hurt as a result of explosions right in their homes. One of the most common types of explosions that we see harm people across the United States is water tank explosions. Unfortunately, these incidents can be catastrophic and cause significant damage to properties and serious injuries or even death to those in the home.
There are several reasons why these explosions occur. One of the most common causes is built-up pressure. When the pressure inside the tank exceeds its safety limits, it can cause the whole unit to explode. This type of pressure can be caused by various factors, including sediment buildup, corrosion, or a temperature and pressure relief valve malfunction.
There are also instances where these explosions are caused by electrical faults or gas leaks. No matter the cause, they can cause severe harm to anyone nearby.
