The unfortunate truth is that explosions take place far too often. Each year, thousands of people across the United States are left with debilitating injuries as a result of these incidents. Far too often, explosions that are reported in the United States are preventable.
We see many people injured as a result of explosions caused by negligence. This is particularly true when it comes to home explosions. Home explosions are often preventable with proper maintenance, safety precautions, and awareness of potential hazards. Unfortunately, there are instances where explosions take place as a result of faulty appliances, leaking natural gas, electrical problems, and improper storage of household chemicals.
These explosions can result in devastating injuries. It is common to see injured victims left with severe cuts and lacerations, blast injuries, inhalation injuries, and severe burns as a result of explosions. Unfortunately, victims often require extensive medical treatment. It can be incredibly hard to deal with the aftermath of an explosion. For this reason, it is important that victims are aware of their legal rights.
